April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born on July 4th on the 4th of July, 1995. As a seventh-grade student, she started taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. It was this that ignited her love to write songs. April's first song was Different. It was written at the age of 12. As a teenager, April devoted a great deal of time composing lyrics and practising her musical skills. Then she began to take trips to write with her father in NY or LA. April also began to include different topics related to some members of her circle who deal with things like peer pressure disabilities and even teens who commit suicide through the songs"Take" my Hand. Lockhart is a partner at popular clean beauty brand Ilia and is also a lifestyle influencer with an increasing following of her own. Her birth was without a hand on her left side and it's one aspect of who she is, but this isn't the whole truth. Because of this, her Instagram profile does not shy away from her disability, but it's not focused on her disability either. What message does it convey? We are all more than the physical person we are. The identities we have are complex and encompass a variety of aspects. We don't want to allow that to determine me. I do not want to become a disability advocate in the sense that I only talk about, because there are different aspects to me Lockhart speaks via video from her residence in Nashville. This doesn't have any effect on my daily life. I conduct every day as normal and have found ways to manage to things. However, it's a component of me and I feel it's important that we talk about. Her journey to self-acceptance is a journey that's going to last for a long time, and she is an inspiration on this front. She still admits to going through phases when it comes to her body and feeling unsure about certain clothes which exposed her arms. Nowadays, she can wear whatever she'd like. Also, she uploads images on social networks. The self-love she talks about is a journey. I'm not sure if you'll ever make it to the finish line. This is true for everyone regardless of levels of anxiety. It's my opinion that having those that know you and see your feelings is crucial because they'll also be the people who remind you What are you worried about?
