Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her leading roles in countless television series, but also her impressive performances in film. Both Canadian and American television are fond of Emily VanCamp. Emily began acting at the age of 12 after visiting her older sister Katie in one of Katie's movies. Once she discovered her passion for acting, she began to take classes in acting and going to auditions. She started out with a couple of ads, and was soon cast in Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark the Canadian horror show for kids. The show only featured her in only one scene and without dialogue. On the WB program Glory Days, she received her first major break when she was just 15 years old. Emily's appearance on the show by WB Glory Days that was cancelled 9 episodes later, drew the attention of and landed Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was also a photographer and ballerina was named by Teen magazine as one the most talented actresses under the age of 20. She was ranked at number 51 on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
